SHRCC Thrift Store
WE ARE OPEN! WE ARE ACCEPTING DONATIONS!
We do need your help though when you are donating!
We ask that donors DO NOT leave/drop off furniture, clothing, or household items on our dock or outside our business after hours. We do not have the capability of cleaning items nor the ability of keeping others out of those items. Many times we have to dispose of leftover items due to the outside elements and others. Furniture we cannot use then has to be taken to the landfill in which we have sole responsibility of disposal and payment. So please understand that we are so appreciative of your donations, but ask that you only donate to us when we are open.
Hours of Operation: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday between 10:00 am – 4:00 pm & (Closed Every Wednesday)
All donations for SAFE Homes-Rape Crisis Coalition Thrift Store are tax-deductible.
Our clients shop at the store for free. Profit sales from the public support SHRCC programs and services. Dollar Day is the 2nd & 4th Friday of every month !!!!
Again, donations can be dropped off at the Thrift Store on our back dock M, T, TH & F (10 am-4:00 pm) Only! You can go into the store to receive your tax receipt. Please do not donate items after hours or over the weekend, especially furniture. We appreciate you thinking of us and helping our organization, but items left overnight or over the weekend tend to become weathered and require us to make costly trips to the landfill. Our donation coordinator can schedule a time with you to pick up your furniture.

Holiday Giving Program
The Holiday Season is a special and exciting time. However, for battered women, their dependent children, and victims of sexual assault it can be a source of great pain. If you are interested in providing Christmas to a woman, child, or family affected by domestic/sexual violence, please fill out this holiday sponsor form.
Our Christmas Gift Store is available to our shelter residents as well as those clients we have served within the past year. Each client must fill out an application and once approved will be able to shop and wrap gifts they choose for their children. These parents will be required to invest $5 per child or $20 per family. Those parents who cannot afford to pay the required amount will be given a voucher to shop for gifts. We are asking our sponsors to purchase new items for children ages 0-18, adult women, and/or household supplies. This gift store has allowed our clients the opportunity to be involved in the gift selection process for their children, as well as, provided them with the knowledge that they are not alone. Our little ones also have the opportunity to shop for their mothers in a separate gift store.
In 2018, SAFE Homes-Rape Crisis Coalition was able to provide gifts to 185 adults and children that have been impacted by violence. The sponsors who made this effort possible all came from our local community. We appreciate all that YOU did to make this program possible and look forward to working with YOU again this year.
If you are interested in becoming a Holiday Sponsor, please fill out the Holiday sponsor form and mail it, fax it, or drop it off at our office @ 236 Union Street ~ Spartanburg, SC.
Please read the Sponsor Instruction letter for further information or contact us if you have any questions.
