SAFE Homes-Rape Crisis Coalition provides services to domestic violence and sexual assault victims and their family. We offer individual, family, and group psychotherapy to adults and children who have been impacted by violence. This includes clients in the community as well as in the domestic violence shelter.
Individual and Family Therapy is offered Monday thru Friday 8:30 am – 7:00 pm at our Main Office.
All fees are determined based on a generous sliding scale, and arrangements will be made at the first appointment. No one will be turned away!
What is group psychotherapy?
In group psychotherapy, approximately 8 to 10 individuals meet with a trained group psychotherapist. During the group meeting time, members talk about what is troubling them. Members are encouraged to give feedback which includes expressing feelings about what someone says or does. Interaction between group members is highly encouraged and provides each person an opportunity to try out new ways of behaving; it also provides members with an opportunity for learning more about the way they interact with others. Group psychotherapy also helps members realize they are not alone…that other people have experienced similar life events, and reactions to those events.
SHRCC Therapists hold Masters degrees or higher, are licensed in our fields, and have been trained in trauma-focused models and techniques such as TFCBT, TIR, EFT, and EMDR.

SAFE Homes-Rape Crisis Coalition will not turn away a victim of domestic violence family because of language barriers. We have various staff and volunteers who assist us to ensure that language and culturally appropriate services are provided in her native language.
